Whether you are new to stackers or not, it is always nice to have a few extra ideas for using them.
Be Frugal
Instead of using all the stackers from a sheet for one card, we can be a little thrifty and make 2 or even 3!
To do this, you need to lay the images down in size order and only use alternate ones. You could even use only one image per card if you wish, in which case you can make many many cards!!
Frame it
It’s really nice to emphasis the technique that is being used, in this case pyramid stacking. An excellent way of showing this off is by framing the images before they are stacked. There are a few ways of doing this but the best and easiest way is by inking up the edges. Take each image that you are going to use and drag an ink pad along the edges, if you want a feathered look then stoke the ink pad along each edge.
Sprinkle Sparkle
We all love glitter and sparkle so why not blink up the stackers. Pick out elements that need the sparkle treatment and using a glue pen and glitter, get sprinkling. Using glitter pens has the same effect.
Flat backed gems are also a lovely option to embellish the stackers, picking out flower centres, etc. is always effective.
